THIS IS A REQUIREMENT IN YOUR SURVIVAL TOOL BELT
Plot twist: the monster didn’t isolate you… it led you to your people.
There’s a moment in every survivor story where things get quiet. After the diagnosis. After the chaos. After the fight. And that’s where the real question creeps in: “Now what?” Because surviving Breast Cancer isn’t just about living. It’s about learning how to exist in a body, and a life, that feels unfamiliar. Plot twist: this is where the bond begins.
Your Local Monster Slayers (Hill Country in Texas):
At its core, Pink Warrior Advocates exists to ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone, providing education, advocacy, and a community built on connection, transparency, and real-life support. This isn’t surface-level support. This is where you find people who have fought the beast that is breast cancer, and lived to tell the story. They create space for honest conversations without filters, education that actually makes sense when everything feels overwhelming, advocacy that helps you take back control, and community that shows up again and again. If you’re looking for people who understand without explanation, this is where you start.
TV Thursday (Trust & Vulnerability)
Fourth Thursday of the month. 6:00 PM. New Braunfels. No scripts. No pretending. Just a room full of people who have faced the same beast, and aren’t afraid to talk about it. Some nights are educational. Some nights are interactive. Some nights are just stories, raw, unedited, and necessary. This is where you say the thing you haven’t said yet and realize someone else has been holding it too.
Join "THE GANG":
Programs like Here IV You (for Stage IV warriors) and Newly Diagnosed meetups exist because different stories need different spaces. Instead of guessing where you fit, go straight to the source (click the Pink Warrior Advocates link above)
Facebook Support Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/pinkwarrioradvocates
Because sometimes the first step isn’t showing up. It’s just clicking the link, and finding people who get it.
Survivorship doesn’t end when treatment does. The Divas and Dudes Program focuses on what comes after, support, resources, and community built for the long road, not just the crisis.
Your National Sisterhood:
If you do not live in Texas, this is the wider network waiting to catch you. A national community of people who have also faced the beast, and understand exactly what that means. Peer-to-peer support, virtual connection from anywhere, retreats that feel human, not clinical, and a space where you don’t have to explain why this is hard. No performance. No pressure. Just connection.
The Body Plot Twist
Here’s the part no one scripts well: You survive… and then you meet your body again. Different. Marked. Changed. Sometimes the shock isn’t what you went through, it’s what’s left behind.
This is where the story shifts. Where loss becomes choice. Where scars stop being the final version. 3D nipple tattooing, eyebrow restoration, and scar camouflage. Not to erase what happened, but to decide how it lives on you. The ladies at perky are able to give you something back that the monster called cancer stole from you....your self confidence!!!! !If you’re ready to explore that step click the link above!
Final Plot Twist
You thought the scariest part was the diagnosis. But really, it was the idea of being alone in it. You’re not. Somewhere, in a room, in a conversation, in a community you haven’t stepped into yet, there are people who have fought the same beast and are waiting to meet you. Maybe they’re in New Braunfels. Maybe they’re waiting for you online. Maybe they’re already living the same chapter. Plot twist, the bond you’ve been searching for already exists. You just have to walk into it.
